The Associate in Theology and Bachelor of Theology are earned by taking the prescribed courses within the student’s approved degree plan, with the completion of the needed accumulative units. Students are required to successfully complete all the prescribed courses within the degree plan to receive the Associates and Bachelor of Theology degree. All certificates and diplomas are completed by their respective set amount of credits and concentration. Once the number of accumulative units are completed the student may apply for the diploma or certificate. The Masters degrees and Doctor degrees are earned by completion of the required number of credit units and the 3.0 GPA. As it relates to graduate level course work, LBI does not require a prescribed course plan to graduate. However, all Masters and Doctorate degree classes are to be chosen from the graduate level list of courses identified in the catalog. Any courses taken outside of this would need to be pre-approved by the Dean of Academics to be considered part of a graduate degree.
